How Admirals Club membership works
Admirals Club is American Airlines’ airport-lounge program. American currently describes a network of nearly 50 Admirals Club locations and more than 60 partner lounges worldwide.

American also publishes parallel prices in AAdvantage miles. The general-member price starts at 85,000 miles for a new individual membership and 165,000 miles for a new household membership. Before using miles, compare the value you expect from the membership with the flights or upgrades those miles might otherwise purchase.
The household plan is not automatically better for families. An individual member can already bring immediate family while traveling with them. The household plan is most relevant when the added spouse or domestic partner needs membership access under the household terms rather than entering only as the primary member’s accompanied guest.
